Rockwood holds successful fundraiser day for Hororata Parish
A very successful Open Day was held at Rockwood on Sunday 23rd February 2014 raising about $9000 for the local Hororata Parish.
The Rockwood bush walk and garden, including the historical homestead and cemetery, were open to the public for the day which proved to be very popular with over 500 people attending. The weather stayed fine despite storms in Christchurch and people were able to wander through the large garden and enjoy the large trees, stone step features and stalls.
