Located on SH72/77, the Inland Scenic Route, Mt Hutt Lodge overlooks the stunning Rakaia Gorge.

The Lodge is at the gateway to the Lake Coleridge basin, or if you're passing through it is on the scenic route north and south of the Rakaia River.

From your doorstep you can enjoy salmon fishing, a jet boat trip up the Rakaia River or the spectacular Rakaia Gorge Walkway. Mt Hutt ski field is just 30 minutes drive away and the town of Methven just 10 minutes away. 

Mt Hutt lodge is locally owned and hosts Jo and Butch Stern go out of their way to provide a personal service and the attention you need to have a memorable experience in the area.
