There are only two official camp sites in the area. 

Harper Campsite

Situated at the inland end of Lake Coleridge, this is a basic campground with long-drop toilet and tap with well water. Single night stays are free.

Situated beside the Rakaia River Gorge, this pleasant and peaceful campsite offers easy access to the river, salmon fishing and boating. Operated with pride by local campers. Very reasonable rates and good facilities.
