Rockwood's Bush Walk is situated in the Canterbury foothills on the working farm of Rockwood near the small settlement of Windwhistle.
The loop track takes about 1 hour for people of medium fitness. The track goes through 100 acres of private native bush. You see native ferns, tree ferns, black beech, matai and white pine with wonderful bird life and Rockwood stream alongside. Rockwood also runs group tours of its garden and homestead. On a neighbouring farm there is another well-known bush walk - the Washpen Falls Walkway.
